Summary:To enforce state anti-discrimination laws, the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI) will not accept policy form filings that contain exclusions or limitations on benefits that are based on a person’s gender identity.
Consumer Complaints:
Any individual who believes they may have faced discrimination on the basis of sex, gender identity, or a gender dysphoria diagnosis may contact the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance to file a complaint.
